The Daybird comes as both a standard version or a step-through version. This neighborhood cruiser is designed to be user friendly from the start. We wanted to make a bike that was inviting for anyone to hop on and ride. It’s a bike with simple spec that will be there when you are ready to ride. Throw a basket or a rack on it and it will do your grocery shopping for you, maybe even ride it to school or work. This is a bike we hope you will enjoy enough to hook you on riding a lot more!
A surprise summer shipment of a small number of Taj bikes in the coveted Military Blue colorway arrive next week. Hit up our in-house distributor Full Factory to order one (or tell your favorite bike shop to)!
We got kits in! Limited numbers available (because making custom kits is rather expensive). The cool thing is not a lot of people will look like you dressed up in a Fairdale kit. Made for us by Castelli you can be sure of the quality and fit (Castelli kits are our favorites). Check ’em out…
The Radavist spotted our second Goodship prototype and posted up some very awesome photos of it. Coming at the end of the year feel free to get your drool on here! And thank youThe Radavist!!
Our friends from Poland, PNT, have just released a new issue of their online mag. There’s some great photography and a few Weekender shots. Really stoked on what these folks are doing. Well worth checking out:
Leif shows off his Weekender Frame set he built up. The Weekender is turning out be a pretty adaptable platform. With front and rear rack mounts you could sling some racks on here and be off for a weekend camping trip, or carrying bags to school each day. Pop on some fenders and you have a fun way to get to work. The disc brakes will work in any weather condition you come across and the comfortable frame can handle a good range of riding styles.
FYI, Leif is 6’2 and this is a XL Weekender frame with parts to properly size it to him.
Fairdale is excited to announce that the first bike from our 2015 lineup has arrived early. The Stud is exactly what it sounds like it would be, the toughest and most bad ass bike we have ever made. Wind tunnel tested for the maximum aerodynamic rider position and designed to be equally at home on the streets or off road. We’ve all heard of the “so-called” benefits of Carbon Fiber frames, but our 100% pure Pine stud main frame advances bike building to the next level. Compliant in all the best ways, 100% made and grown in the USA our elegant weld-less frame construction looks as good as it performs. Our test riders were able to reach top speeds of over 19 kilometers an hour, which we are told converts to over 85MPH! To compliment this masterpiece of design The Stud comes with the finest quality components. Our custom designed memory foam seat cushion will keep you happy on even the longest rides, and the comfortable prone riding position is very similar to lying in a plush feather bed. The Stud frame has infinite mounting points for water bottle cages and touring racks. Pre-order today and be the first in your area to be seen riding The Stud!
Fairdale Bikes presents a little insight into its highly advanced R&D department. Aerodynamic 2×4 bikes and Fender Bass Bicycle are all put to the test.
