Fairdale Bikes Research and Design Front Derailleur Repurposing Division: Shifting Your Perception April 18, 2016
The bicycle industry has deemed shifting the front chainrings on your bicycle to be unnecessary. The front derailleur has been declared dead. The Fairdale R&D team has the vision to see that the front derailleur still has plenty of life left in it. The incredibly dynamic mechanical range of the front derailleur has many potential uses. The newly formed Fairdale Bikes Front Derailleur Repurposing Division (FBFDRD) is focused on honoring the front derailleur by finding new and practical uses for this beloved bicycle mechanism. Here’s a sampling of our latest projects.
A custom pair of Nobelity Project Daybird bikes April 18, 2016
Electric 13 Tattoo’s (and our good friend) Pat Schreader custom painted a pair of Daybirds to benefit the Nobelity Project. The bikes will be raffled off Friday, April 22nd (Earth Day) at Bicycle Sport Shop during a family friendly fundraiser to benefit the Nobelity Project. Check out the full event details HERE.

Some Taj bikes are popping up on the internets today. Above is our team rider Leif shooting around the curved wall ride out at Sea Otter.
We built the Taj to be a bike you can comfortably sit down and cruise on but also have some BMX fun. It combines the simple toughness of a BMX bike with the ability to go for a cruise too!

Personally I would be terrified to name a book this. There is so much potential for my grammar challenged brain to screw this up… WERE, We’re, where, there, their, they’re…. Anyway, I think Sandy Carson got this right. WE WERE THERE is a photo book from his unique perspective inside the photo pits at all different sorts of music shows.
