And if you do could you please buy me one of these???
I really really want one.
There are many awesome things about this blanket set. First of all the guys foot is blowing off the pedal either in an effort to save a fall, or some blanket maker sewed up this still image a little early and should have waited till he was full tweaked. Second I know this is someone, some magazine photo or some internet photo of some rider… you could make someones day by letting them know they are on a blanket. First clue is pegs on the left side. The recommendation to dry clean is a nice touch for a BMX blanket too.
As always Fairdale looks to improve the world through superior design and engineering. Our latest invention achieves this through the often forgotten means of simple laughter. We strongly hold dear the ideal that a good laugh can improve the quality of life for all who share it.
And so, we proudly introduce the remote controlled spring loaded manhole cover.
This simple device is focused around an extremely powerful spring, and can easily replace any normal manhole cover. The spring may be detonated remotely for hours of enjoyment and wholesome fun.
Simply replace any existing manhole cover with the Fairdale Remote Controlled Spring Loaded Manhole Cover and wait for an unsuspecting cyclist to cross over the target zone. Release the spring with the “Launch” button at the right time for a huge laugh everytime!
Works great on pedestrians too! Try it on smaller, lighter children for the ultimate “boost”.
It was suggested to me that I start a T-shirt of the month club based around some of these Fairdale drawings. That might be fun. You could subscribe for one low price and then each month I would just print a new shirt from a new drawing and mail it to you.
I can see some problems with this idea though:
For one thing, what if you sign up for one size T-shirt, but then your weight fluctuates wildly from month to month?
Or what if (as often happens) the Fairdale corporation tries to cut some costs by using inferior shirts that make you break out in a rash?
And perhaps most dangerous is the idea of you trusting my sense of humor. There’s a very real chance I might think something really REALLY dum would be funny to put on a t-shirt. Are you really willing to risk that and subscribe your money away fearlessly and faithfully?
On the other hand, I do know some really awesome artists and it would be cool to have some guest artists do a shirt design or two. You might end up with something really unique and cool. I haven’t actually asked anyone and I’m not quite sure how I would get these “artists” to work for Fairdale, but usually just a million or so dollars convinces anyone. Maybe even some of you are artists. Now that would be a good deal… you do the drawing and then buy the shirt from me!
There is some precedence for this club-of -the-month kind of thing so maybe its not such a stretch:
And I know most of you are already enrolled in the Pickle of the month club.
Of course there already is a really awesome T-shirt of the month club too over at Threadless.
Got a little ESPN interview and photo gallery. Roscoe is happy with it.

Seems like this ESPN stuff never works on my computer, but maybe it will work on yours.
You may have seen on my old Ride BMX blog the scrap wood project where I made an ipod cat.
I’m taking a beginning woodworking class and during some free time I got to make a couple more ipod compatible hollow bodied animals.
First is the ipod wiener dog.
I also made another cat, but sadly he is waiting for his stereo components to arrive for installation.
I did do a drawing of the ipod cat though and what he will look like once finished.
