Our man Sandy Carson has been out and about riding bikes with his crew, The Sativa Rollers, and shooting photos. He sent over a little report…

Two weekends ago, we rode the Bicycle Sport Shop Gravel Grinder. It’s a 50 mile ride on a jeep road through Rocky Hill Ranch and Buescher State Park. It was bloody freezing rain!

Here’s a coupla photos from that-

The day after the Gravel Grinder was the Mellow Johnny’s lassic TMBRA XC race in Flat Creek Ranch just outside Austin. It was super rainy and muddy. My fave weather. I took first!

Last weekend I entered my first Duathlon, the “Dirty Du” also out at Rocky Hill Ranch in Smithville. It was a 10k run and 15 mile bike ride. Pretty exhausting and super challenging. I’m new to running and having a laugh with it. I took 2nd in the main race and 1st overall in my old man age group!
