Driver-less Bicycle and half a decade of innovationWith e-bikes blurring the lines between bicycles and motorcycles we thought that maybe we are approaching automated cycling from the wrong direction. Perhaps the problem with bicycles is not the pedaling so much as it is the steering. Our Robotic Bike Driver® easily attaches to your tandems driver’s seat-post and will take care of all steering duties.

A little behind the scenes of the little mascot art on the Goodship frames. I try to give each of the bikes a mascot of some kind. It adds a story and personality to the model. A character to guide the bike. -Taj

I wrote a little blog over on the internet (Fairdale site) if you’re interested in some of the behind the scenes here.

@fullfactory is our in-house sales team that sells Fairdale to bike shops. FF also brings @odysseybmx, @sundaybikes, @gsportbmx, and @bsdforever to bike shops in the USA. A bike shop can get anything and everything BMX along with Fairdale Bikes in one spot (and on one order).

The Fairdale Out of Step tee and bottle: I was obviously riffing on Minor Threat’s famous Out of Step album cover with this drawing. I see this scene play out in real life every time I go for a pedal… rolling through town with my eyes up enjoying the sights, but everyone around me has their head’s bowed–hypnotized by their phones. I do it myself of course, but these brief looks from my bike while outside my little screen’s control are refreshing. -Taj

Elevator action! Thanks to @jamie_from_biking 🚲 and @conorbmx316 📸 for this post. Our Elevator is a 29er hardtail MTB for trail riding, but some trails have fun jumps on them!

Our new Weekender Nomad in Metallic Dark Silver is here. We are extra pleased with how this color came out–it has a soft glow to it without being too loud. This Nomad model dresses our versatile Weekender frame with crispy 1x11 mechanical shifting, 700c wheels, and shallow drop bars. It also looks great in alleys at night.

Ask for it at your favorite shop. More info on fairdalebikes.com

Goodship and Out of Step bottle in the wild! Goodship is our steel road bike frame, and we probably don’t really need to explain the water bottle (but it’s also new and in stock). Hope y’all are out riding!

It’s so much more than fun, but it is danged fun to just ride a bike. Clear your head, have a smile, and make some space for processing the rest of the world. Bikes are good.

From time to time we will steal your photo tagged @fairdalebikes, deface it by drawing over top of it, and then repost it with out compensating you in anyway. We liked this pic of our Weekender in Lemon Grass with a cool rack on it.

Welcome to the #FairdaleAnimalClub @publicservicebicycle & Patrick!
