My daughter and I bike-packed the Canadian Arctic in August. We covered 600 miles in 16 days from Dawson City Yukon to Tuktoyaktuk on the Arctic Ocean, all on nasty gravel roads. The Fairdale came through just fine carrying 60lbs of gear. - Brad
