Fairdale x New Belgium / Ridgemont
We are honored to have worked with New Belgium Brewing to manufacture their latest “coworker bike”.
I recently visited the New Belgium headquarters in Ft Collins, and it was such a cool bike-centric place. There’s bike stuff everywhere: paintings of bikes, furniture made from bike parts, lighting fixtures made from old wheels, and employees’ bikes all over the place. The brand was founded after the owners completed a bike ride through Belgium, visiting breweries. After a few years, each employee gets to go on a trip to Belgium to ride bikes and relive the original bike tour that started it all. How cool is that? Your job sends you on a bike trip–almost like working at Fairdale! Behind the brewery, there is even a bike track where they hold weekly races for employees and families!
This bike is a special bike based on our Ridgemont model. You can’t buy it, but if you work for New Belgium you can earn one.
The New Belgium team came to us with their ideas for the bike, and we worked with them to make them real. A very fun project we are glad to have been a part of. Thanks so much, New Belgium!
