Seth Wanders the Columbia River Basin November 2, 2015
Team rider Seth Celebrates the end of his season working for the Forest Service out of Glacier, Washington with a ride through some the Northwest’s hardest hit wildfire areas. He sent in some great photos and report…
It was mid October and as I wrapped up my seasonal job I threw on the spandex and started pedaling right from work. I had no itinerary but a vague idea of where I would like to see and at a pace that I could actually take in the sights I was surrounded by. I wanted to see some of the effects of the record-setting Washington wildfires. I also wanted to see the expansiveness of the Colombia river basin outside of the shelter of an enclosed vehicle. Besides the destinations I just wanted to pedal and open the my mind.

A customers custom Daybird October 29, 2015
Aaron Ross just got hitched. As a wedding present for his new wife Bethany he built this one of a kind custom painted Daybird. We love seeing folks take the time to customize our bikes. This one’s pretty over the top with even custom graphics, new rims, Aaron Ross Signature Odyssey grips, Brooks saddle, new bars and shorter stem. Thanks Aaron and congrats!
Pet Pegs October 27, 2015
Spent the morning goofing off doodling. Came up with another product for our Probably Going to Patent series: Pet Pegs. Taking your pet on bike rides can be difficult, but Pet Pegs will change that. Strap your animal to the pegs, mount the pegs to appropriate sized wheels, lock the tow rope to your bike and roll!
Pictures of cool looking Fairdales from Instagram October 26, 2015
I lurked around the #fairdalebikes hashtag on instagram and found a rad assortment of customized bikes. Stoked to see them, thanks y’all!
No Hair, No Air October 20, 2015
I’m working on some new Fairdale stickers. I keep thinking back to those old Stick ‘Em Up ads that used to be in the back of old BMX mags. Remember those things? Had all the silly slogan stickers like, “RAD,” or “CRASHING SUCKS,” or “No Posers.” This “No Hair, No Air” drawing isn’t going to be a sticker but I’ve always loved that slogan because I couldn’t ever make any sense of it. I think I finally cracked it! This is #2 in my shaved sheep series. -Taj
